Reviewing This Week on Make HR Happen – The Intertwining of HR and Job Search

The articles published this week spoke of optimism, learning, networking, advising and intervening. While there is a specific target audience to each of these, there is a thread running through them all that should pique interest from anyone associated with those looking for employment as well as Recruiting or Human Resources personnel. There must always be a mutual understanding from the other person’s perspective to be successful in these endeavors. What do you think?

Life altering events such as serious health challenges or a job loss leave us vulnerable to unwanted intrusion if we let our guard down. – more –

Mar 29 – Human Resources Interventions  – This story begins with “Once upon a time…” but doesn’t end with “They lived happily ever after.” It may have been ended with “problem solved” but I seriously doubt it.

Many, many years ago, a return to the office from lunch involved an elevator ride with some HR colleagues. Joining us in a crowded elevator were two women who brought their lunchtime conversation into the elevator with them.  – more –
